Terms and Conditions for Security Installation Services

1. Definitions

- “Company” means AJS Security Solutions ltd, the provider of security installation products and services.
- “Client” means the customer purchasing goods or services from the Company.
- “Products” means security equipment supplied (CCTV, alarm systems, access control, intercoms, etc.).
- “Services” means installation, maintenance, support, and related works provided by the Company.

2. Scope of Agreement

These Terms and Conditions apply to all sales and services provided by the Company unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Quotations & Orders

- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.
- Orders must be confirmed in writing before work begins.
- The Company reserves the right to adjust prices due to changes in scope, specifications, or unforeseen circumstances.

4. Payment Terms

- A deposit of 50% is required prior to commencement of work.
- The remaining balance is payable upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed.
- Late payments may incur interest charges at 20% per month.
- All products remain the property of the Company until payment is made in full.

5. Delivery & Installation

- The Company will use reasonable efforts to complete installation within the agreed timeline.
- The Client is responsible for ensuring the site is prepared (power, internet, structural access, etc.).
- Delays caused by site conditions or third parties are not the responsibility of the Company.

6. Warranty & Maintenance

- Equipment supplied is covered by a manufacturer’s warranty of 12–36 months depending on the manufacturer. 
- Installation workmanship is guaranteed for x months. This will be specified in the contract agreement.
- Warranty will be void if products are tampered with, damaged by misuse, or serviced by unauthorized parties.
- Ongoing support is available under separate maintenance contracts.

7. Liability

- The Company is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage that occurs despite the installation of security systems.
- The Client acknowledges that security systems reduce risk but do not guarantee prevention of incidents.
- The Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
- Liability is limited to the total value of the contract.

8. Confidentiality & Data Protection

- The Company may access sensitive areas or data during installation or maintenance.
- All such information will be treated confidentially.
- The Client is responsible for ensuring compliance with local privacy and surveillance regulations.

9. Termination

- Either party may terminate the contract by giving written notice if the other party breaches its obligations.
- The Client shall pay for all completed works and materials supplied up to the termination date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England & Wales.
